The role

Property Workplace & Development is seeking two experienced and capable property-savvy Portfolio Managers to join its Pre-sale Finance Guarantee team to play a pivotal role in delivering the NSW Government's Pre-sale Finance Guarantee — designed to unlock housing supply by providing developers with greater certainty and accelerating residential projects across the state. 

As a Portfolio Manager, you'll assess and manage a portfolio of residential developments seeking support through the Pre-sale Finance Guarantee. You'll work closely with developers, legal advisors, valuers and internal stakeholders to evaluate applications, monitor commitments and optimise portfolio outcomes. 

This is a unique opportunity to combine your property, finance, application assessment and stakeholder management expertise to support a program that directly contributes to solving one of NSW's biggest challenges: housing.

What you will bring to the role:

• Experience in application assessment, property, development, portfolio management, finance, valuation or related sectors.
• Strong analytical, critical thinking and assessment capabilities.
• Experience reporting on assessment outcomes and management of complex transactions, projects, or portfolios.
• Excellent written communication skills, including preparing reports, briefings and recommendations.
• Sound judgement and the ability to make evidence-based recommendations in a fast-paced environment.
• A collaborative approach and a passion for delivering outcomes that benefit communities.
• Experience working with project monitoring tools and reporting dashboards.
