We are a growing Australian trailer manufacturing and transport equipment business specialising in the design, manufacture and supply of semi-trailers, road train equipment and customised transport solutions.

As our business continues to grow, we are looking for an enthusiastic and motivated Semi-Trailer Sales Representative to join our team and help expand our customer base across the transport and logistics industry.

As a Semi-Trailer Sales Representative, you will be responsible for developing new business opportunities, managing existing customer relationships and promoting our range of semi-trailers and customised trailer solutions.

You will work closely with customers to understand their transport requirements and recommend suitable trailer configurations, specifications and solutions.

·         Generate new sales opportunities and develop long-term customer relationships.

·         Identify and pursue potential customers within the transport, logistics, construction and related industries.

·         Promote and sell semi-trailers, custom trailers and related products.

·         Respond to customer enquiries and prepare quotations and proposals.

·         Understand customer requirements and recommend appropriate trailer specifications.

·         Follow up leads, quotations and prospective customers to convert opportunities into sales.

·         Maintain strong relationships with existing customers and encourage repeat business.

·         Attend customer meetings, industry events, trade shows and site visits when required.

·         Monitor market trends, competitor activity and customer requirements.

·         Work closely with the engineering, production and administration teams to ensure customer requirements are accurately communicated.

·         Maintain accurate sales records and regularly report on sales activities and opportunities.

·         Achieve agreed sales targets and contribute to the overall growth of the business.

We are looking for someone who is:

·         Highly motivated, professional and results-driven.

·         Confident in communicating with customers and building strong relationships.

·         Experienced in sales, preferably within the trailer, transport, heavy vehicle, automotive or manufacturing industry.

·         Able to understand technical product specifications and customer requirements.

·         Strong in negotiation, presentation and communication skills.

·         Well organised with excellent follow-up skills.

·         Comfortable working independently and as part of a team.

·         Customer-focused with a strong commitment to providing excellent service.

·         Able to identify new business opportunities and convert leads into sales.

·         Willing to travel to meet customers and attend industry events when required.

Experience in one or more of the following will be highly regarded:

·         Semi-trailer or trailer sales

·         Road Train sales

·         Truck and transport industry

·         Trailer manufacturing

·         Commercial vehicle sales

·         B2B sales

·         Fleet sales

·         Transport and logistics industry

A strong understanding of semi-trailer configurations, trailer applications, payload requirements and Australian transport requirements will be advantageous.
