Sandblaster

About the role

This is a hands-on position responsible for surface preparation of structural steel and fabricated components. You will play a key role in ensuring all work meets required quality standards and deadlines.

This role is based at our Black Hill facility, featuring a state-of-the-art blast chamber, air filtration system and overhead cranes.

Key Repsonsibilities

• Perform abrasive blasting (sandblasting) to prepare surfaces for coating

• Ensure all work meets quality specifications and project requirements

• Maintain equipment and ensure it is in good working condition

• Follow safe work procedures and workplace health & safety requirements

• Assist with general paint shop duties as required

• Maintain a clean and organised work enviroment

• Minimise material waste and use resources efficiently

• Complete timesheets and required documentation

About You

• Experience in sandblasting

• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

• Good understanding of workplace health & safety practices

• Reliable, punctual, and string work ethic

• Forklift licence
