An exciting opportunity to gain hands-on experience with a fast-growing Australian luxury fragrance brand.

SOKO Parfums is looking for a creative and culturally aware Marketing & Social Media Intern to join our team for a six-month internship. You’ll work closely with our Social Media and Marketing team across content creation, campaigns, influencer activations and brand shoots.

This role would suit students who, as part of their coursework, are looking to build real-world experience within luxury, beauty, fragrance, fashion or social media marketing - particularly someone with a strong understanding of Chinese social media like Xiaohongshu / RED BOOK.

What You’ll Gain

This internship is designed to provide exposure to the day-to-day operations of a growing luxury fragrance brand.

You’ll have the opportunity to:

• Gain hands-on experience in luxury brand marketing

• Work directly with an experienced social media and marketing team

• Participate in professional brand and campaign shoots

• Gain experience working with influencers and content creators

• Build experience across Instagram, TikTok and Xiaohongshu

• Develop content and campaign work for your own portfolio

We encourage applications from students studying Marketing, Communications, Media, Digital Marketing, Fashion Business, Public Relations or related courses.

This internship may be undertaken as part of an approved university or tertiary vocational placement.

About You

We’re looking for someone who is enthusiastic, creative and genuinely interested in branding and social media.

Ideally, you will have:

• Strong interest in luxury, fragrance, beauty, fashion or lifestyle

• Experience using Xiaohongshu / RED BOOK

• Strong understanding of current social media trends and content

• Chinese-language skills, ideally Mandarin, as the role involves Chinese-language content and creator/influencer research

• Confidence communicating with models, creators and influencers

• A creative eye for photography, video and social media content

• Willingness to learn and contribute ideas

Experience with Instagram, TikTok, Canva, CapCut, Adobe Creative Suite or similar platforms would be highly regarded, but is not essential. We hope you have you join our growing team!
