Signwriter

Outcry Media is a Melbourne-based signage manufacturer delivering high-quality signage solutions across commercial, retail, construction and government sectors. Based in Sunshine West, we specialise in the design, manufacture and installation of a wide range of signage including illuminated signage, fabricated letters, large format digital printing, vehicle graphics and wayfinding systems.

We are seeking an experienced Signwriter to join our growing production team on a full-time basis.

About the role

As a Signwriter, you will be responsible for the manufacture, assembly and installation of a broad range of signage products. Working within our production team, you will contribute to delivering high-quality signage projects safely, efficiently and to a high standard.

Your duties will include:

• Manufacturing and assembling commercial signage

• Applying vinyl graphics to a variety of substrates

• Laminating, trimming and finishing large format digital prints

• Fabricating and assembling illuminated and non-illuminated signage

• Installing signage at customer sites across metropolitan Melbourne

• Reading and interpreting production drawings and job specifications

• Operating hand and power tools safely and effectively

• Maintaining a clean, organised and safe work environment

• Working collaboratively with project managers and other production staff to meet project deadlines

About you

To be successful in this role you will have:

• A relevant qualification in Signwriting or a related trade, or equivalent industry experience

• At least one year of relevant full-time experience in the signage industry

• Experience manufacturing and installing a variety of commercial signage

• Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing quality work

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

• Current Australian Driver Licence

• Construction White Card (or willingness to obtain prior to commencement)

• CNC router operation

• Welding and metal fabrication

• Vehicle signage and wraps
