About the role

Buddies ELC is seeking a passionate and experienced Diploma-qualified Educator to join our team in Bentleigh, Victoria. This is a full-time position but can be 4 days , offering the opportunity to work in a supportive and nurturing environment, contributing to the growth and development of young children.

What you'll be doing

• Providing high-quality care and educational experiences for children aged 4-5 years

• Implementing the Early Years Learning Framework and centre policies to support children's learning and development

• Collaborating with the teaching team to plan and deliver engaging, age-appropriate activities

• Maintaining accurate records and documentation, including observations and assessments

• Ensuring a safe, clean and welcoming environment for children and families

• Communicating effectively with parents and caregivers to build strong partnerships

• Participating in professional development opportunities to continuously improve your practice

What we're looking for

• A Diploma of Early Childhood Education and Care or equivalent

• Minimum 2 years' experience working in a similar role within the childcare sector

• Strong understanding of early childhood development and pedagogical practices

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

• Ability to work collaboratively as part of a dedicated team

• Passion for supporting the wellbeing and learning of young children

• Current first aid, anaphylaxis and asthma management certificates

• Valid Working with Children Check
