About the role
Are you a passionate and dedicated educator or ready to begin your journey in early childhood education?
At Smarties Early Learning Centre, our well-established service in Narwee and are looking for enthusiastic Trainees, Certificate III, Diploma Qualified Educators to join our supportive, close-knit, and dynamic team.
As an educator at Smarties, you will:
Create warm, welcoming, and nurturing learning environments where children feel safe, valued, and inspired
Support and guide children's learning through meaningful and engaging play-based experiences
Work collaboratively within a passionate and dedicated team that values connection and teamwork
Build strong, respectful, and lasting relationships with children, families, and colleagues
Contribute to daily routines, programming, and maintaining high-quality practices aligned with the NQS
Grow and develop your skills under the guidance of an experienced and supportive leadership team
Traineeships available
We proudly support our trainees with hands-on experience, mentorship, and guidance while you complete your Certificate III in Early Childhood Education and Care, with genuine opportunities for long-term career progression.
About You
We're looking for educators who:
Hold a Certificate III or Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care or an Early Childhood Degree (ACECQA approved) — or are eager to begin a traineeship
Have a genuine passion for working with children and supporting their development
Are strong team players with a positive and professional attitude
Demonstrate a good understanding of the EYLF, NQS, and National Quality Framework (for qualified applicants)
Have excellent communication and relationship-building skills
You will also need:
A current Working With Children Check
Current First Aid, CPR, Asthma & Anaphylaxis training (or willingness to obtain)
Availability to work full time
A professional presentation and commitment to high personal hygiene standard.
