Are you an experienced Field Service Technician looking for your next challenge? Or do you have experience servicing appliances such as dishwashers, washing machines, dryers, commercial kitchen equipment or similar electromechanical equipment?

U-Tech Medical is one of Australia's leading independent biomedical service companies, providing installation, maintenance, validation and repair services for medical and veterinary equipment across Australia. With over 30 years of industry experience, we are expanding our team and are looking for motivated technicians who enjoy problem-solving, working independently and delivering outstanding customer service.
About the RoleAs a Field Service Technician, you will be responsible for servicing and repairing benchtop and large-capacity autoclaves and other sterilisation equipment used in medical, dental and veterinary practices.
Your responsibilities will include:
Preventative maintenance and breakdown repairs
Installation and commissioning of new equipment
Fault finding and diagnosis of electrical and mechanical systems
Providing exceptional customer service on-site
Completing service reports electronically
Working closely with our technical support team
Experience servicing autoclaves is highly desirable, but not essential.
We encourage applications from technicians with experience servicing:
Washing machines
Dishwashers
Dryers
Commercial laundry equipment
Commercial kitchen equipment
Packaging machinery
Laboratory equipment
Other electrical or electromechanical equipment
If you're mechanically minded, have strong electrical fault-finding skills and enjoy working with customers, we'll provide the specialist training required.
Full Factory Training ProvidedSuccessful applicants will receive comprehensive factory training on leading brands of sterilisation equipment, along with ongoing technical support and professional development.

What You'll NeedPrevious field service experience
Good electrical and mechanical troubleshooting skills
A current driver's licence
Excellent communication and customer service skills
Ability to work independently and manage your own schedule
A positive attitude and willingness to learn
A restricted electrical licence, disconnect/reconnect licence or relevant trade qualification will be highly regarded but is not essential.
