The opportunity 

Nestled in the heart of Port Stephens, our Holiday Parks are seeking experienced Housekeeping Team Leaders to lead teams in both Shoal Bay and Fingal Bay in providing a quality housekeeping service to our onsite Cabins.

Your role as Housekeeping Team Leader is key in providing leadership and supervision to the housekeeping team, blending both a hands on approach whilst also contributing to the planning, coordination and facilitation of systems, processes, plans, and sanctuary activities as a member of the leadership team. 

You will coordinate with the team daily around cleaning standards, allocation of resources, and undertaking of general administrative tasks to support your Holiday Park.

• We have two opportunities available, working from either Shoal Bay Holiday Park or Fingal Bay Holiday Park.
• These are permanent opportunities – working 60 hours up to 76 hours per fortnight on a 7-day rotating roster
• Base Salary Range: $56,338 to $63,943 pa based on 30 hours / week + 12% superannuation + adverse work allowance + $2,023 retention allowance

Please Note: For the purpose of recruitment, the title of Housekeeping Supervisor has been used to reflect the equivalent industry title. Internally the official title of this position is Guest Services Housekeeping Team Leader.

• A certificate III in Cleaning, Housekeeping, Holiday Park Operations or equivalent/relevant experience
• Demonstrated ability in leading and coordinating a small team
• Extensive experience in the cleaning or accommodation industry 
• A sound knowledge of safe work practices and safety requirements
