Business Analyt (Entry / Junior)

Role Description This part-time Business Analyst (Entry / Junior) role is a hybrid position based in Sydney, NSW, with flexibility for some work from home. The Business Analyst will assist in gathering and documenting business requirements related to the platform’s booking and dispatch processes. Day-to-day tasks include analyzing operational data, mapping business processes, preparing reports and dashboards, and identifying opportunities for process improvement. The role also involves collaborating with stakeholders to clarify requirements, supporting testing of new features, and helping ensure that system changes align with business goals and user needs.QualificationsStrong Analytical Skills to interpret data, identify trends, and support data-driven decisions.Foundational Business Analysis and Business Requirements skills to capture, document, and validate stakeholder needs.Understanding of Business Process concepts to map workflows and propose improvements to operational efficiency.Effective Communication skills to collaborate with team members, operators, and customers, and to present findings clearly.Relevant tertiary education (completed or in progress) in business, information systems, analytics, or a related field.Comfort with spreadsheets, basic data analysis tools, and documentation software; familiarity with dashboards or BI tools is an advantage.Ability to work in a hybrid environment, manage time effectively, and handle multiple tasks with attention to detail.Interest in operations, logistics, or field services; prior internship or project experience in these areas is beneficial.
