Panel Beater

We currently have an excellent opportunity in Bassendean to be part of the success of the AUS Smash Repairs business throughout Western Australia. Reporting to the AUS Smash Repairs Manager, this role will see you responsible for the repair of all vehicles and components. The position offers attractive hours and salary.

This position will be responsible for;

• Strip and reassemble vehicles and components

• Repair vehicles to a high quality finish

• Use car alignment systems

• Monitor and manage materials

• Ensure a quality product is produced

• Conduct ad hoc quality control checks

• Assist with the procurement of panel shop materials

• Assist with estimating and costing jobs

• Supervising and training apprentices

You will also need to possess the following:

• Qualified Panel Beater (Trade Certificate)

• Experience in using car alignment systems

• Experienced in all welding techniques

• Attention to detail

• Unrestricted manual drivers' licence (MR licence preferred)

• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines

• Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment

To be successful in this role you will have previous experience in panel beating, be eager to learn and enjoy working in a team environment. This role will require a pre-employment medical to include a drug and alcohol test.
