THE ROLE
Eilbeck Cranes is seeking to employ an A Grade Workshop Electrician, to join the operations in Dohertys Road - Truganina.
The Workshop Electrician is responsible for the assembly, wiring, testing, and commissioning of cranes, hoists, and materials handling equipment within a manufacturing environment. This role ensures all electrical components are installed to specification, completed within production timeframes, and meet quality and compliance standards. The position also supports fault finding, repairs, and continuous improvement of workshop processes.
Key responsibilities
Assisting the Electricians in the workshop
Be physically capable for work as heavy lifting is required
Wiring of motors and controls
Building switchboards and control panels
Fault Finding
Industrial experience advantageous
THE APPLICANT
Trade qualification as an Electrician (essential)
Current Electrical Licence
White Card
EWP and Working at Heights (desirable)
Experience in industrial, manufacturing, or workshop environments
Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and drawings
Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills
High attention to detail and commitment to quality
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Be motivated and reliable
Strong communication skills (written and verbal)
