Head Of Finance

At Prima PMI, we’re building a finance and insight capability that directly shapes how the business performs, not just how it reports.

We’re looking for a Head of Finance who can challenge thinking at the leadership level and influences and illustrate the commercial mechanics of the business, including how data, financial insight, and operational efficiency combine to drive better outcomes.

This is a role for someone who wants influence, and impact, not just accountability.

What you’ll be doing

• Act as a trusted partner to the Managing Director and Senior Leadership Team, providing insight, challenge, and clear recommendations.

• Own the economic lens of the business, ensuring decisions are grounded in margin, risk, and return.

• Lead financial governance, controls, and compliance across the organisation.

• Forecasting finished goods and revenue

• Management reporting on the health of the business vs the plan

• Developing BOMS and Routings methodology

• Oversee analytics and operational efficiency capability to ensure data is translated into action, not just reporting.

• Drive improvements in margin, working capital, cost structure, and throughput.

• Call out risk and poor economics early, even when it’s uncomfortable.

• Influence outcomes across the business through clarity, evidence, and judgement.

What we’re looking for

• A commercial finance leader with experience in complex operational environments (Manufacturing required)

• Tax minimisation experience desirable

• Strong judgement and the confidence to challenge when something doesn’t stack up.

• Proven ability to turn insight into action through people, data, and influence.

• Experience using ratio analysis to manage and monitor the health of a business

• Ability to work with team members locally, offshore and internationally to deliver high quality transaction outcomes and strategic insights

• Comfortable owning cross-functional outcomes without needing to “run everything”.
