Practice Nurse

A casual position has become available for a Practice Nurse located in Upper   Coomera(Medicross Brygon Medical ). We offer a supportive team- based environment in which the Practice Nurse will work closely with GP's to deliver high-quality, individualised care.

Key Responsibilities:

• Chronic Disease Management Plans and Health Assessments

• Immunisation

• Wound Care

• Ear syringing

• Minor Procedures

• Recalls

• ECG's and Spirometry

• Cold chain vaccine management

• Ordering stock and vaccines

• General Practice support

Skills and Experience:

• Current AHPRA registration: RN qualified

• Knowledge of chronic disease management is essential

• Capacity to multi task, prioritise and good time management

• Must be pro-active with a can do positive attitude

• Professional presentation

• Strong verbal and written communication skills

• Prior General Practice nursing experience is advantageous

• Computer literate
