About the role
An exciting opportunity exists to join the Wren Oil Electrical & Instrumentation team.
To be successful in your application we require a reliable person with a positive attitude, someone who shows engagement and can work in a fast paced environment.
This position is NOT FIFO and therefore provides the perfect work life balance.
Duties for this position includes, but are not limited to:
Adhere to all applicable industry legislation and company Safety, Health and Environmental, Acts, Regulations, Standards, Policies and Procedures.
Maintain electrical systems by establishing and enforcing preventive and ongoing maintenance, testing programs, scheduling repairs with shutdown & installation works.
Completing Permit To Work and Job Hazard Analysis’s for tasks.
Isolations, disconnections, and maintenance of electrical equipment including motors for pumps and rotors, instruments for pressure, elements, pressure switches, level elements, level switches, flow, temperature, control valve positioners and limit switches.
Switchboard upgrades and maintenance of VSD’s, soft starters, DOL’s and control. PLC works including working with analog and digital inputs and outputs along with minor PLC programming.
Install and test electrical systems and their components to all relevant Australian Standards.
Mentor of Apprentices to ensure knowledge, training and QC expectations of Wren Oil as an employee is passed on.
Responding to equipment breakdowns in a timely manner to minimise downtime.
Essential
Trade Qualified Electrician: WA Electrical License
Current Western Australian ‘C’ Class Driver’s License.
Highly motivated and focused.
Good organisational skills.
Well-presented and articulate, well developed communication skills.
Reliable and Punctual.
Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
Desired
High Risk work License (FL & EWP).
Working at Heights.
