SHEET METAL FACTORY WORKER WANTED

Danton Group Australia is seeking an experienced Sheet Metal Factory Worker to join our busy fabrication workshop in Kirrawee. We are looking for a reliable and skilled tradesperson with hands-on experience in light gauge sheet metal fabrication who can work independently and contribute to a productive team environment.

This is not an entry-level position. The successful applicant will have proven workshop experience, strong attention to detail, and confidence operating sheet metal machinery.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate guillotine machinery

• Perform sheet metal folding using pan brake equipment

• Operate roll forming machinery

• Measure, mark out and set up sheet metal work

• Read and work accurately from measurements and dimensions

• Carry out general light gauge sheet metal fabrication

• Operate forklifts as required

Required Skills & Experience

• Previous experience in light gauge sheet metal fabrication

• Strong measuring and fabrication skills

• Experience operating workshop machinery

• Current forklift licence

• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision

Desirable Experience

• Working with aluminium, galvanised steel, Zincalume and stainless steel sheet metal
