The Meat and Wine Co restaurant forms part of a vibrant, passionate and dynamic national team. Established in 2000, The Meat & Wine Co prides itself in providing an exceptional and unique steakhouse dining experience. The restaurant has a unique atmosphere and ambience which is dedicated to our African heritage whilst still having reference to Australian surroundings.

The Meat & Wine Co South Perth is looking for an experienced and dedicated Chefs who are committed to exceeding our customers' expectations whilst leading a professional and hardworking team.

To be considered for this role you will need to possess the following:

• 1 + years of proven kitchen experience in a fast paced, high volume environment

• Prepare all dishes to The Meat & Wine Co standard

• A relevant Diploma qualification OR at least 1-3 years of relevant employment experience

• Experience cooking over a char-grill essential

• Advanced understanding and appreciation of all aspects of food and its service

• Strong leadership, motivational and people skills

• Effective communication skills to maintain a secure and friendly working environment

• Impeccable presentation, hygiene and grooming standards

• Ensure compliance with all OHS legislation (act and regulation)

• Ability to work over a 7-day rotating roster, including weekends, nights and public holidays.
