About the Client

Our client is a leading manufacturer of quality doors and building products. They are currently seeking a reliable and experienced Compiler/Picker to join their warehouse team on the afternoon shift.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking for an ongoing, long-term position in a busy warehouse environment. The successful candidate will work on an afternoon shift from 2:45 PM – 11:15 PM.

What's on Offer?

• $43.83 per hour + Super

• Afternoon shift: 2:45 PM – 11:15 PM

• Ongoing, long-term employment

• Training provided, with training expected to take up to one month

• Opportunity to work within a well-established warehouse operation

Key Responsibilities

• Pick and compile door orders based on packing slips

• Accurately select and count doors, hinges, panels, frames, sills, and jambs

• Stack and organise products safely onto dollies or pallets

• Move completed dollies/pallets into the despatch area

• Consolidate orders and prepare stock for the following day's dispatch

• Enter and update order information in the warehouse system

• Perform manual handling of items weighing up to 25 kg

• Work safely when handling larger or heavier items, with team lifting required where appropriate

• Maintain accurate picking and order completion to meet warehouse requirements

• Follow all workplace health and safety procedures

• Assist with general warehouse duties as required

To Be Successful in This Role, You Must Have:

• Strong communication and comprehension skills

• Previous experience picking heavy items in a warehouse environment

• Experience working to picking and productivity KPIs

• Timber, doors, hardware, or similar product picking experience is highly desirable

• Strong attention to detail and accuracy when reading packing slips and counting orders

• Good computer/system skills

• A strong commitment to workplace health and safety

• Reliable and consistent attendance

• Full and unrestricted working rights in Australia

• Willingness to complete a physical assessment prior to commencement

• Ability to perform regular manual handling and physical warehouse duties

• Availability to work the afternoon shift from 2:45 PM – 11:15 PM
