Senior Repair Centre Technician

About the RoleWe’re looking for a skilled Repair Centre Technician to join our technical services team. This hands-on role involves diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining a wide range of electromechanical equipment. The ideal candidate will have experience in a repair centre or field service environment and a strong technical aptitude for troubleshooting complex hardware.
Key ResponsibilitiesDiagnose and repair faults in a variety of devices, including:ATMsSelf-Service Checkouts (e.g., Coles, Woolworths)Poker MachinesLarge Printers (Fujitsu, Toshiba, Canon, etc.)Money Changing MachinesParking Complex Ticket Payment MachinesPerform component-level repairs and part replacementsConduct functional testing and quality assurance before redeploymentMaintain accurate service records and repair logsCollaborate with field technicians and support teams to resolve recurring issuesEnsure compliance with safety and quality standards
Ideal Candidate ProfileExperience:Previous experience as a Repair Centre Technician or Field TechnicianHands-on exposure to the devices listed aboveTechnical Skills:Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skillsFamiliarity with electromechanical systems and repair toolsEducation (preferred):Degree or diploma in Information Technology, Electrical Engineering, or Electromechanical EngineeringAttributes:Detail-oriented and methodical in approachStrong communication and teamwork skillsAbility to work independently and manage time effectively
