Northern Health are seeking applications from motivated and suitably experienced Registered Nurse to join the Oncology and Medical Day Unit team at Northern Health

Northern Health is the major provider of acute, maternity, sub-acute, mental health, specialist, community and home-based services in Melbourne's rapidly growing outer north.
Services are provided through our six main campuses:
Northern Hospital Epping, Broadmeadows Hospital, Bundoora Centre, Craigieburn and Mernda Community Hospitals Centres and Kilmore District Hospital. In addition, Mental Health Services are provided at Epping, Broadmeadows, Jacana, Preston, Mill Park, Mernda and Coburg.
About the Role:
The Oncology and Medical Day Unit is located at Northern Hospital, compromising of 17 chairs, including 2 clinical trial chairs and our SURC clinic. Our service is focused on delivering high risk anti-cancer regimes but also includes administering blood product transfusions, iron infusions and some immunotherapy and monoclonal antibodies for chronic medical diseases. This role also has the opportunity to rotate to our NOAH@Home program (delivering chemotherapy at home) and our SURC service.
This role requires an experienced haematology/oncology nurse to work a rotating roster in our Oncology and Medical Day Unit, delivering chemotherapy, complex medical infusions and supportive care to patients. The successful applicant must have experience working in a Day Oncology Unit, work well within a team and be able to provide care across all aspects of cancer treatments including education to patients and their carers.
