Aluminium Window Fabricator

About the role

As an Aluminium Window Fabricator at MJ Architectural Windows and Doors, you will play a vital role in the production and assembly of high-quality aluminium windows and doors. This full-time position is based in the modern facility in Royal Park, South Australia.

Key responsibilities

• Working within a team of fabricators efficiently and accurately, in the production of aluminium window and door frames

• Interpret technical drawings and specifications to fabricate products to the required standards in allotted timeframes

• Operate specialised equipment such as cnc machine, glass lifter, end mill, saw, hydraulic punches and assembly tools

• Inspect completed products to ensure they meet quality control standards

• Collaborate with the Production Manager to identify opportunities for process improvements

• Maintain a clean, organised and safe work environment

About you

• Minimum 5 years experience as an aluminium window or door fabricator

• Good language and communication skills are essential

• Positive attitude, ability to work in a team, sense of urgency, trustworthy and reliable

• Strong technical skills in reading and interpreting technical drawings and specifications

• Proficient in the use of power tools, machinery and equipment used in aluminium fabrication

• Excellent attention to detail and quality control mindset

• Proven skills cutting, machining, assembling, manual handling glass and aluminium lengths/frames, loading and unloading of deliveries

• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced production environment

• Good understanding of time management

• Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills

• Australian citizenship required

• Car and forklift licence required
