We are currently seeking an enthusiastic and experienced Dairy & Freezer Manager to join our team at Seasons IGA Yandina.

This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated leader to take ownership of a key department and play an important role in the continued success of our store.

About the Role

As the Dairy & Freezer Manager, you will oversee the day-to-day operations of the Dairy and Freezer departments, ensuring excellent product availability, presentation, and compliance with food safety standards.

You will lead and support your team while driving department performance through effective stock management, waste reduction, and outstanding customer service.

Position Details

• Full-time position

• Immediate start available

• Tuesday to Saturday roster

Key Responsibilities

• Manage the daily operations of the Dairy & Freezer departments.

• Maintain high levels of product availability and merchandising standards.

• Lead, coach, and motivate team members to achieve department goals.

• Minimise waste through effective stock control and rotation.

• Ensure compliance with food safety and workplace health and safety requirements.

• Deliver exceptional customer service and assist with customer enquiries.

• Contribute to the overall success and profitability of the store.

About You

To be successful in this role, you will have:

• Previous supermarket experience, preferably within Dairy, Freezer, or Grocery.

• Previous leadership or supervisory experience.

• Strong organisational and time management skills.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

• The ability to prioritise tasks in a fast-paced retail environment.

• Basic computer skills.

• A sound understanding of food safety requirements.

• A positive, hands-on approach and a passion for leading by example.
