ACT Digital is seeking a temporary Program Support Officer to join the team as soon as possible until 10 November 2026, with the possibility of further extension of up to three months.

About the Role

• This role helps keep the ACT Digital Program moving. You will support the team that makes sure branch administration is completed accurately, efficiently and with care, so managers and technical specialists can stay focused on delivering important digital outcomes for the ACT community.
• You will join a motivated and trusted support team that takes pride in smooth operations, practical problem solving and helping others do their best work.
• The role is varied, visible and valued across the branch.

Eligibility/Other Requirements:

• Experience providing program, administrative or business support services, including applying relevant policies, procedures and processes.
• Clear written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to build effective working relationships with a range of stakeholders.
• The ability to manage competing priorities, work proactively and contribute positively in a fast-paced team environment.
• A collaborative and adaptable approach, with a commitment to continuous improvement and the ACTPS values and signature behaviours.

Note: This is a temporary position available immediately until 10 November 2026 with the possibility of extension up to three months. This position is available to ACT Government officers and employees only.

A Merit Pool will be established from this selection process and will be used to fill vacancies over the next 12 months.

Selection may be based on application and referee reports only.

This position is located in a workplace designated for activity-based working (ABW). Under ABW arrangements, officers will not have a designated workstation/desk.

Opportunities for flexible working options could include hybrid working, being a combination of working from home, designated office based and FlexiSpace working locations across the ACT, part-time hours, job-sharing, flexible start, and finish times.
