Director

Your key responsibilities:

• Providing independent, strategic, consistent, timely advice to the Executive Director as well as the HPRB leadership team regarding contentious, time-critical or confidential matters and other issues as required to ensure business continuity.
• Resolving issues, particularly contentious, time-critical or confidential matters as required by the HPRB Executive leadership team.
• Facilitating a strong and effective professional and consultative relationship with other Population Health Branches, Health and Hospital public health units and officers from other departments and key external stakeholders.
• Developing and maintaining effective professional partnerships with internal and external stakeholders in the development of policies, practices and initiatives to ensure consistency with the Division's direction and corporate strategic intent.

• Excellent interpersonal, communication, influencing and motivational skills and an ability to role model professional and expected behaviours and build strong peer relationships.
• A values-driven, decisive, transparent and inclusive leadership style that values and promotes the contribution of peers and subordinates in the development and implementation of solutions to organizational challenges and goals.
• A high-level ability to develop and drive change at a system level and a proven ability to deliver key public health priorities.
• Demonstrated capacity for innovation, creativity and sound judgement in a complex operational environment.
