About the role
Jordan Plumbing is a leading plumbing contractor in South Australia and the Northern Territory. We are currently seeking applicants who are motivated, eager to learn and willing to undertake a 12 month traineeship role within our administration team in our Adelaide office.
The 12 month traineeship will be completed through TAPS (Trainee & Apprentice Placement Service) and hosted by Jordan Plumbing. Upon completion of the traineeship, the trainee will be provided the opportunity to further their skills within the Jordan Plumbing administration team.
Position
The role of the business administration trainee is to assist in the day to day administration of the Adelaide office and provide support to the accounts team.
Tasks and Duties
Providing support to the accounts team
Processing/matching purchase orders and invoices
Maintain a clean and tidy reception area
Process trade payroll
Taking/directing phone calls and messages
Liaising with tradespeople, suppliers and customers
Schedule meetings and appointments
Handle incoming deliveries
Experience and skills
To be successful in this role you will:
Have a high attention to detail
Have the ability to work with deadlines and competing demands
Be able to work both independently and as a team
Have good problem solving and decision-making skills
Have sound knowledge of Microsoft Office Applications e.g. Word, Excel, Outlook (Preferred but not essential)
To become a TAPS Trainee, you need to:
Be an Australian Citizen or Permanent Resident
Hold a current drivers license and reliable vehicle
Be committed to a 12 month training contract to achieve Cert III in Business BSB30120
