Teller / Customer Service Officer

We are partnering with a leading Australian retail bank to recruit Customer Service Officers for a branch‑based role located in North Adelaide.

This is a casual opportunity offering with four weeks of full‑time paid training, ongoing development and strong long‑term career progression opportunities within banking.

The important parts:

• Pay: $30–$38 per hour + Super | ⏳ Duration: 12-month contract (potential for extension and/or permenancy)

• Hours: Casual full-time hours with variable shifts based on branch demand. Rosters issued four weeks in advance.

What you will be required to do:

This is a branch‑based customer service role, supporting customers face‑to‑face in a busy, professional banking environment.

Key responsibilities include:

• Delivering exceptional in‑branch customer service
• Assisting customers with everyday banking enquiries and transactions
• Listening to customer needs and referring them to appropriate banking products or specialists
• Supporting daily branch operations as part of a small, collaborative team
• Using internal banking systems to log customer interactions and workflows
• Maintaining compliance with banking policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements

To be successful in the role you will:

• Have proven customer service experience (retail or hospitality backgrounds highly regarded)
• Bring a genuine passion for helping customers (“obsession with service”)
• Demonstrate strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Show confidence, curiosity, and a willingness to learn banking products
• Have basic technical capability and comfort learning new systems
• Be flexible to work variable shifts across Monday to Friday, based on branch requirements
• Prior banking experience is preferred but not essential, full training is provided
