Experienced Limestone Blocklayer

Creative Limestone is a limestone construction company based in Rockingham with ongoing Commercial and large Residential projects. We have over 25 years' experience building limestone retaining walls, boundary walls and screen walls and are looking for an experienced block layer to join our limestone team.

Requirements:

• Must have Block Layer experience within the limestone construction industry.

• Proficient in all aspects of Safe Workplace and Environmental Practices

• Current and valid Driver’s Licence with own transport.

• Construction Induction White card.

• Physically fit and able to perform manual tasks in a safe manner.

• Able to pass a pre-employment medical and drug and alcohol testing

Our Wish List but Not Mandatory

• Excavator and/or Bobcat/Skid Steer ticket

• Small Plant ticket (Quickcuts, Compactors etc.)

• HR Licence

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Attention to detail to ensure structural integrity, building code compliance and high quality of workmanship.

• Assess and prepare adequate footings prior to commencement of wall work.

• Lay blocks as per plans and engineering specifications.

• Carry out Pre-Starts and report any faults or operating issues.

• Operate all plant and equipment in a safe manner.

• Liaise and take direction from Site Supervisor, Clients and Project Site Managers.

• Problem solving and leadership skills.

• Strong work ethic and great attitude, with the ability to both lead and direct whilst consulting with others.

• Assist other team members in maintaining a clean and safe working environment.
