About the role
What if your next clinical leadership role gave you the opportunity to influence how Urgent Care is delivered, all while remaining connected to patient care?
We are looking for an experienced and forward-thinking Site Clinical Lead to provide senior clinical leadership in Narre Warren Urgent Care Centre.
This is a newly created, high-impact leadership opportunity within the growing Urgent Care Network, based in Melbourne's South-east. You’ll play a key role in shaping clinical standards, developing medical leaders and creating a consistent, high-quality experience for patients and clinicians across the network.
Importantly, this isn't a role that takes you away from medicine. You’ll remain clinically active as an Urgent Care GP, combining hands-on patient care with dedicated non-clinical leadership time throughout the week.
The OpportunityAs Site Clinical Lead, you will be at the forefront of clinical leadership in your centre, working with senior leadership and operational teams to build a strong, consistent and progressive clinical culture.
You will:
Set and embed high clinical standards in your centre
Lead clinical governance, quality improvement and patient safety initiatives
Provide senior clinical guidance for complex presentations and escalations
Help shape clinical policies, protocols and models of care
Strengthen workforce capability and clinical culture
Identify opportunities to improve patient outcomes and service delivery
Work closely with operational and executive leadership to drive continuous improvement
This is an opportunity to move beyond the traditional boundaries of general practice and have a genuine influence on the future of Urgent Care.
You'll be joining a growing model of care that sits between general practice and emergency departments, providing patients with timely access to care for urgent, non-life-threatening conditions.
About YouWe're looking for a senior clinician who combines strong clinical judgement with genuine leadership capability.
You will have:
Unrestricted AHPRA registration
Current ALS certification
Experience in Urgent Care, Emergency Medicine or acute care
Previous clinical leadership, governance or medical management experience OR a strong interest in leadership
Strong communication, mentoring and stakeholder management skills
A passion for developing people, improving systems and delivering exceptional patient care
If you're curious about what this opportunity could look like, we'd love to hear from you.
Give Jonathan a confidential call to discuss the role, the network and what we're looking to build. No pressure, just an opportunity to explore whether this could be the right next step for you.
