About the role
The Consultant/Senior Consultant in Women’s Anaesthesia is to provide anaesthetic, acute pain and resuscitative services for the patients of the Obstetrics and Gynaecology (O&G) Departments. The appointee is responsible for the provision of high-quality pre-anaesthetic patient preparation, participation in the Pre-anaesthetic Clinics, pain relief services for labouring women, anaesthesia for elective and emergency obstetrics and gynaecology surgery and post-anaesthetic care services.
