Auto Electrician

Pro4x4 Australia is looking for an experienced Auto Electrician to join our growing team in Ormeau.

This isn't a role where you'll spend every day doing the same thing over and over.

We build some seriously impressive vehicles specialising in American trucks, custom 4x4 builds, suspension, accessories, lighting, electrical systems and everything that goes into creating a vehicle that's built properly from start to finish.

From RAMs, Silverados and Ford F-trucks through to custom builds and aftermarket electrical installations, you'll be working on vehicles and projects that are genuinely interesting.

We're looking for someone who takes pride in their work, knows their stuff, and wants to be part of a team that's building something bigger.

Your days will be varied and hands-on, including:

• Working on custom 4x4 and American truck builds

• Working alongside our mechanical and fitment teams to bring full vehicle builds together

• Installing aftermarket electrical systems and accessories

• Wiring and installing lighting, battery systems, dual battery setups and other electrical components

• Diagnosing and repairing automotive electrical faults

• Installing and troubleshooting aftermarket accessories

• Testing and verifying completed work to ensure everything is functioning properly

• Maintaining the high standard of workmanship Pro4x4 is known for

You're an experienced Auto Electrician who knows their trade and doesn't need someone looking over their shoulder all day.

You take pride in doing things properly — because shortcuts and "she'll be right" workmanship aren't how we operate.

Ideally, you'll have:

• Solid experience diagnosing and repairing automotive electrical systems

• Experience with aftermarket accessories and custom installations

• Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills

• Confidence reading wiring diagrams and using diagnostic equipment

• Experience with 4x4s, American trucks or custom builds would be a huge advantage

• A good eye for detail and pride in clean, quality workmanship

• The ability to work independently while also being a solid team player

• A current Australian driver's licence
