Role PurposeThis role is responsible for producing timely, engaging and newsworthy video content across all digital platforms. You’ll play a key role in capturing the essence of the Tasmania Devils, from match-day moments to behind-the-scenes storytelling, ensuring every piece of content reflects the Club’s values, identity and brand. Your responsibilities will include:
Content Production & FilmingCapture high-quality footage of press conferences, player interviews, training sessions and sponsor activationsSupport studio-based filming and content productionLead the execution of the Club’s YouTube strategy through engaging long-form content
Editing & Content DeliveryEdit match footage into engaging highlight packages for fans and stakeholdersProduce tailored video content for internal departments and commercial partnersAttend evening and weekend matches, and travel as required, to capture live and behind-the-scenes content
Brand & Stakeholder EngagementDevelop video content aligned with the Club’s content strategy and tone of voiceEnsure all video output is consistent, on-brand and professionally producedBuild strong working relationships with internal and external stakeholders
What you’ll bringStrong understanding of pre-production planning, including scripting, shot lists, lighting and stakeholder communicationHigh-level camera operation skills with a strong eye for framing and audio captureProven experience in video and audio editing using professional editing softwareStrong knowledge of Apple Mac OS and Adobe Creative Suite, including Premiere Pro, After Effects and PhotoshopExperience working in a multimedia studio environmentUnderstanding of multimedia systems, video management systems (VMS) and encoding workflowsKnowledge of sports media production, particularly football contentAbility to create engaging content tailored to sporting audiences and digital platformsCreative instincts balanced with technical precision; you can imagine the story and then run the shoot that captures it
