Role purpose

As our Commercial Analyst - Global Technology, you'll help shape how technology investment are planned, governed and optimized across a global organization. From cloud and SaaS spend to major transformation programs, you'll help ensure every investment delivers measurable business value. This is an opportunity for someone who enjoys solving complex problems, influencing decisions and bringing structure to ambiguity.

This is a Fixed Term - Full Time (6 months) opportunity based in Melbourne.

What You'll Be Doing

• Partner with Technology leadership to manage and optimise global technology operating expenditure.
• Deliver financial reporting, forecasting and variance analysis that drives action.
• Provide portfolio oversight across technology programs and projects.
• Support financial governance, capitalisation compliance and investment tracking.
• Create insightful dashboards and visualisations to support executive decision-making.
• Collaborate across Technology, Finance, Procurement and Enterprise Delivery teams to improve financial transparency and accountability.

What You'll Bring

• CA / CPA qualified.
• Strong FP&A / Commercial Finance experience, ideally in a global, technology-enabled environment.
• Great understanding of Technology cost drivers.
• Advanced financial modelling and analytical capability.
• Advanced Excel skills and experience with BI / visualisation tools (e.g. Power BI, python).
• Proven ability to manage large, complex cost bases across regions.
• Excellent stakeholder engagement skills, with ability to influence non-finance audiences.
• Ability to create clarity, structure and operate effectively in a fast-paced, global, matrixed organisation.
