E7 Overhead Transmission Linesworker

Renewables Technical Services Pty Ltd operates in the renewable energy and high-voltage transmission sector. RTS delivers specialised services relating to the installation, maintenance and upgrade of overhead transmission networks across Australia.

We are seeking experienced Overhead Transmission Linesworkers to undertake construction activities, including conductor stringing and clipping, on transmission projects across Western Australia.

Key duties include:

• Conductor stringing and clipping
• Associated hardware installation
• Tensioning and dead-ending, as required
• Operation of specialist equipment, including Tesmec equipment
• Operation of mobile elevating work platforms (MEWPs)
• Interpretation of technical drawings, network line diagrams and maps

• Safe work in accordance with WHS procedures and requirements
• Excellent modern camp accommodation, including meals
• PPE provided
• Transport to worksites provided, with DIDO/FIFO options available from capital cities
• Competitive rates and allowances

• Wage rate paid in line with the applicable enterprise agreement
• $58.97 per hour excluding additional allowances
• Overtime rates may apply on weekends and public holidays
• Full time roster work

• Minimum 5 years of referenceable overhead transmission linework experience will be considered, preferably at 330kV
• White Card
• HR licence
• Cert III n ESI - Transmission Overhead 
• High Risk Work Licence
• PSSR Training
• Current or previous network authorisation
• Relevant training certificates are preferred, including dogging, advanced rigging, EWP operation, tower rescue, first aid and 4x4
