About the role

Working across a variety of year levels and learning areas, you will:

• Deliver quality teaching aligned with the Western Australian Curriculum.
• Maintain positive, safe, and productive classroom environments.
• Build respectful relationships with students and staff.
• Follow lesson plans while adapting to meet individual student needs.
• Support student wellbeing and engagement in learning.
• Contribute positively to the culture and daily operations of the College.

This is a casual relief position with flexible opportunities available throughout the school year.

About you

You are a confident and flexible educator who enjoys working in a dynamic school environment and quickly building positive relationships with students.

You will bring:

• Current Teacher Registration with the Teacher Registration Board of Western Australia (TRBWA).
• Strong classroom management and behaviour support skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Confidence teaching across a range of secondary learning areas.
• The ability to adapt quickly to different classroom environments.
• A commitment to student wellbeing, professional excellence, and the Christian mission of the College.

Essential requirements

• Current Teacher Registration with the Teacher Registration Board of Western Australia.
• Current Working with Children Check.
• National Police Clearance.
• Current First Aid Certificate (desirable but highly regarded).
• Personal faith and commitment to the Lord Jesus Christ.
• Active participation in a church or Christian community.
• Acceptance of the College's Statement of Faith.
• Commitment to maintaining a child-safe environment.

Desirable

• Experience teaching across multiple secondary learning areas.
• Previous relief teaching experience.
• Knowledge of the Western Australian Curriculum.
• Confidence using educational technologies and learning management systems.
