Senior Project Coordinator

Monadelphous are seeking an experienced Senior Project Coordinator to join our PNG Operations team, based in our Brisbane Head office Monday to Friday, on a permanent basis. Periodically you will be required to travel to site for short visits.

This high paced office-based position, will see you working across multiple projects, providing expertise across project management, estimating, procurement, contractual correspondence, quality assurance, and internal/external stakeholder management for our work in Papua New Guinea. 

Key responsibilities include: 

• Work closely with the Site and Project Managers to ensure project objectives are met on time with respect to cost, safety and quality 
• Work closely with client representatives and deliver to meet their requirements 
• Manage the interface between the engineering and project delivery teams to maintain compliance with the specifications, schedules and contract 
• Manage and supervise the resolution of technical queries as required 
• Compile schedule, cost, progress and forecast reports for the project; ensuring all schedule reporting requirements are met 
• Provide support to the project team and implement best practice on the project 

What you will bring 

• 5+ years' experience working in an on-site trade-based position (Supervisor/Superintendent/Construction Manager) for large-scale resources construction/maintenance projects 
• Experience building strong, value driven client relationships 
• An Australian recognised, trade certificate.  
• Strong written and technical skills, with an innovative approach to technical problem-solving and continuous improvement 
• Well-developed communication skills and a collaborative, team-oriented approach with the ability to foster interpersonal relationships across all levels 
• A strong commitment to maintaining a safe working environment 
• Proof of right to work in Australia and a valid passport
