Content Coordinator

Sport, racing, content creation… sound interesting? We are on the hunt for a highly creative Content Coordinator to join our Content team.

With the support of the Customer Strategy Manager, this role will assist Betfair’s Content team in bringing to life our content strategy, with a particular focus on video editing and recording, social media content producing/strategy and writing.

What you will bring:

• Someone who can bring new thinking and improvements to Betfair’s Social Media channels.
• A creative individual who can produce content for Betfair’s TikTok, Instagram, X, and Facebook platforms.
• Video editing and recording experience.
• Proficient in using Adobe Premiere Pro.
• Proficient in Microsoft Word suite and Adobe CS.
• Previous hands-on experience with WordPress or similar CMS.
• Proficient in X, Instagram, Facebook, TikTok and YouTube.
• Proficient at copywriting and writing social media captions.
• An innovative thinker who aims to improve customer engagement with our content, building the Betfair community.
• A person skilled in creating and curating content that drives conversion.
• A collaborative team player who works well with the wider marketing team and business.
• An advocate for ensuring Betfair is a key player in the broader wagering, sporting, and racing conversation.
• Excellent attention to detail.
• A dedicated person contributing to making Betfair the ‘Best place to work’.
• A passion for sport and content.

Some tasks include, but are not limited to:

• Review, edit and upload content to the Betfair Hub to meet set timelines.
• Assist managing the content master planner.
• Curate and create industry leading content for promotion across all of our owned channels.
• Publishing content on Betfair’s social platforms .
• Influence the content, video and social media strategy.
• Produce editorial content for the Betfair Hub and supporting public relations initiatives.
• Execute best practice Search Engine Optimization with industry leading tools.
• Create thorough creative briefs for the Internal Agency team.
• Promote, manage and protect the Betfair brand, ensuring consistency across all communication channels, ensuring all content is in line with Betfair brand guidelines.
• Responsible for landing page curation on all the Hub pages.
• Create and upload social media graphics and video content to owned channels.
• Sub-edit content submitted by Betfair’s content contributors.
