About the Role 

We're looking for a Powder Coater/Production Worker who takes real pride in finish quality, works safely, and keeps up with a fast-moving production schedule. Your work is the last line of quality before our products go out to Defence, government and major fleet customers. 

What You'll Do 

• Prepare components for powder coating, including cleaning, masking and surface preparation 

• Apply powder coating using spray booth equipment to meet quality and colour specifications 

• Load and unload components from the curing oven, monitoring temperature and cure times 

• Conduct quality checks on finish (coverage, colour match, surface defects) and rework as required 

• Maintain the powder coating booth, spray guns and associated equipment 

• Follow WHS and environmental procedures for handling chemicals/powders and operating coating equipment 

• Support general production tasks (assembly, packing, materials handling) as required 

What You'll Bring 

• Previous experience in powder coating, spray painting or a similar surface finishing role (preferred) 

• Understanding of powder coating processes, equipment and quality standards 

• Ability to work safely with coating equipment, chemicals and curing ovens 

• Strong attention to detail, particularly around finish quality and colour matching 

• Physically capable of manual handling and standing for extended periods 

• Reliable, punctual and safety-conscious 

• Able to work effectively both independently and as part of a team 

• A high performer who thrives in a fast-paced, constantly changing environment, with strong attention to detail
