The Opportunity

We are looking for an experienced and passionate Head Chef to lead our kitchen and help build a high-performing team.

About the Role

As Head Chef, you will be responsible for all aspects of kitchen operations, including:

* Leading and motivating the kitchen team

* Maintaining high food quality and presentation standards

* Menu development and seasonal specials

* Food cost control and stock management

* Ordering and supplier management

* Staff training and development

* Rostering and labour cost management

* Ensuring compliance with HACCP and food safety standards

* Maintaining a clean, organised and efficient kitchen

About You

To be successful, you will have:

* Minimum 3 years’ experience as a Head Chef or Sous Chef in a busy restaurant

* Strong knowledge of authentic Italian cuisine

* Excellent leadership and communication skills

* Experience managing food and labour costs

* Ability to work in a fast-paced environment

* Strong organisational skills and attention to detail

* Food Safety Supervisor Certificate (or willingness to obtain)

* Full Australian work rights
