About the role:

This is an exciting opportunity for a data-driven professional who enjoys transforming complex information into meaningful insights and partnering with stakeholders to improve organisational performance through better use of data. As a Data Analyst you will support business needs through the analysis, interpretation, and visualisation of data, while developing and maintaining reporting solutions that enable informed decision-making. You will contribute to the development and refinement of data pipelines, ensuring the availability, quality, and integrity of organisational data.

The successful candidate will demonstrate the following key skills and attributes:

• Tertiary qualifications in data science, Information Technology, or equivalent.
• Knowledge and experience in scripting languages such as SQL, Power Query, Python, and/or R.
• Knowledge of data models and architectures.
• Knowledge and experience in a range of data analysis approaches, especially with respect to business intelligence.
• Proficiency in data visualisation tools such as PowerBI or equivalent.
• Strong knowledge of data governance principles.
• Demonstrated experience in designing, developing, and implementing data solutions.
• Demonstrated experience of data modelling, especially for the purposes of integrating systems data
• Demonstrated experience in completing projects that develop, implement, and/or improve data pipelines.
• Demonstrated ability to engage internal stakeholders with varying levels of data literacy, to understand their business requirements and implement tailored solutions.
• Strong research and analytical skills including the ability to problem solve and interpret information.
• Exceptional inter-personal, negotiation and communication skills, including high level engagement, and team management skills with the ability to build relationships with staff, customers and stakeholders.
• Demonstrated ability to meet deadlines and work under pressure.
• Ability to explain technical systems, problems & outcomes to non-technical staff.

• Knowledge and experience in scripting languages such as SQL, Python and R.
• Knowledge of data models and architectures.
• Demonstrated experience in designing, developing, and implementing data solutions.
• Demonstrated data modelling experience, especially involving extraction, processing, and integration of systems data.
• Demonstrated experience in delivering projects that develop, implement, and/or improve data pipelines.
