Rooming House Manager

We’re searching for our next Rooming House Manager to join our fast‑growing team at The Hopkins Group. This full-time role offers the opportunity to manage your own portfolio within an established, supportive and high-performing Property Management department.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Managing a portfolio of rooming houses

• Building strong, positive relationships with landlords and renters

• Conducting routine inspections, condition reports, and final inspections

• Carrying out Council inspections

• Working closely with the leasing team, including occasional OFIs and overseeing application processing

• Handling maintenance requests and coordinating with landlords and trades

• Managing rent reviews, lease renewals, and arrears

• Ensuring compliance with legislation and internal processes

• Providing clear communication and consistently high-level customer service

• Representing the team with professionalism, confidence, and integrity

What We’re Looking For

• A current Agent’s Representative Certificate

• Strong organisational and multitasking skills

• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities

• A proactive, can-do attitude with exceptional attention to detail

• Professional presentation and a genuine passion for real estate

• A valid driver’s license and reliable vehicle

• Previous experience in real estate or a willingness to grow your expertise in the rooming house sector

• Someone who enjoys being on the road and out and about
