Your New Role
Due to continued growth, our client is looking to appoint experienced Foremen to join a number of flagship $300M+ developments. Whether your background is in structure, finishes or across the full construction lifecycle, you'll be joining a well-resourced site team delivering some of Sydney's largest residential projects.
Reporting to the Site Manager, you'll take ownership of an allocated work area, coordinating subcontractors and driving productivity, safety, quality and programme outcomes throughout construction.
Your Responsibilities Will Include, But Won't Be Limited To
Coordinating and supervising subcontractors and site labour.Driving programme through short-term planning and daily site coordination.Monitoring workmanship to ensure it meets Australian Standards, NCC requirements and project quality expectations.Conducting site walks, toolbox talks and maintaining a strong safety culture.Managing ITPs, inspections, defect rectification and quality assurance processes.Ensuring labour, plant and materials are available to keep works progressing efficiently.Working closely with the Site Manager, Project Engineers and Contract Administrator to maintain programme and project outcomes.
To Be Successful
Trade qualified (Carpentry preferred) or hold a relevant Building & Construction qualification.Proven experience as a Foreman delivering medium to large-scale residential or mixed-use developments.Experience in structure, finishes or overseeing multiple stages of construction.Strong understanding of Australian Standards, NCC requirements, ITPs and quality management.Excellent leadership, planning and subcontractor management skills.Strong communication skills with the ability to work collaboratively across site teams.Experience using systems such as Aconex, Procore or similar construction management platforms is advantageous.
