About the role
About the role
Join a leading Commercial Litigation & Dispute Resolution team that offers the kind of hands on experience rarely available at this stage of your career.
Our practice acts for individuals, high net worth clients and corporations across a broad range of disputes, including contract disputes, shareholder and partnership disputes, civil fraud, defamation, and wills and estates litigation. No two matters are the same, providing an opportunity to develop well-rounded litigation skills across a diverse and engaging practice.
You'll work alongside experienced partners, senior lawyers and mentors who are committed to developing the next generation of litigators. From day one, you'll be given meaningful responsibility, direct client exposure and the opportunity to gain experience across all stages of a matter. In this team, our lawyers are regularly involved in court appearances, urgent applications, trials and high profile disputes, providing valuable advocacy and litigation experience early in their careers.
This is an excellent opportunity for a lawyer looking to accelerate their development in a collaborative team that values learning, autonomy and genuine career progression.
About You
You are a junior lawyer with approximately 1-2 years' post-admission experience who is looking to build a long term career in commercial litigation.
Ideally, you will have gained experience managing your own matters and taking responsibility for the day to day conduct of files, rather than working solely on discrete tasks within larger matters. Experience gained in a commercial litigation, disputes or broad litigation practice will be highly regarded.
You will also bring:
Strong drafting, communication and organisational skills.
A genuine interest in commercial litigation and dispute resolution.
The ability to manage competing priorities in a fast paced environment.
A proactive attitude and willingness to learn from experienced practitioners.
Sound academic results, complemented by practical legal experience.
A collaborative approach and commitment to delivering exceptional client service.
Most importantly, you're looking for a role where you'll receive quality mentoring, gain exposure to complex and varied disputes and be trusted with meaningful responsibility as your career develops.
