As part of St Andrew’s Anglican College, our Early Learning Centre is nestled within the College grounds, offering day care services for infants starting from six weeks old, up to a certified Kindergarten Program.

About the Role:

Are you passionate about nurturing young minds and shaping the future generation? We are seeking a dedicated Lead Educator to join our vibrant Early Learning Centre team on a fixed term contract!

At Little Saints, the Early Learning Centre for St Andrew’s College, we believe in providing a stimulating and supportive environment where children can thrive and explore their potential. As the Lead Educator, you will be responsible for planning and implementing a stimulating daily curriculum tailored to the developmental needs of the group. You will maintain detailed written records and observations for each child, tracking their progress and supporting their growth through ongoing developmental documentation. Your contributions will play a key role in shaping a nurturing, educational environment that promotes learning and development in every child.

What You'll Do:

• Lead the planning and delivery of educational programs, supporting and mentoring the Assistant Educator in daily activities.
• Ensure compliance with all Centre policies, regulatory requirements, and ethical codes, including the Early Childhood Professional Code of Ethics.
• Create safe, clean, and engaging learning environments that promote the well-being and development of all children.
• Maintain clear communication with the Nominated Supervisor regarding incidents, health concerns, or parental feedback.
• Foster positive relationships with children, families, and colleagues through respectful and professional interactions.
• Attend and contribute to staff meetings, Centre events, and professional development opportunities as required.

What We're Looking For:

• Passion for working with young children and a genuine desire to make a difference.
• Ability to communicate effectively and build strong relationships with children, families, and colleagues.
• Enthusiasm for learning and professional development.
• Diploma in Children’s Services.
• Current First Aid, CPR, and Blue Card/Working with Children Check (or willingness to obtain).
