Nepean Private Hospital is seeking an experienced Registered Nurses to join our ICU Team on a permanent part time role. Casual roles are available too. You will play a key role within a supportive team in ensuring high levels of patient care is provided.

The hospital is a modern 109 bed facility providing a wide range of health services to the local community since 2000 including: orthopaedics, spinal, gynaecology, ENT, plastics, urology and general surgery, endoscopy, cardiology, cardiac angiography and obstetrics. Nepean Private Hospital has eight operating theatres, one hybrid/cardiac catheterisation theatre and an endoscopy suite, supported by a critical care unit which includes intensive care.

Deliver safe, researched-based standards of nursing care Provide complex and multi-disciplinary care Work collaboratively in a multi-disciplinary healthcare team to support patient care needs Act as a role model for Safe Practice Supervise, direct and support nursing team members Deliver education and support to individuals/patients for the management of their health recovery, rehabilitation or end of life needs Supervise, direct and guide nursing team members; Enrolled Nurses (ENs) and Assistants in Nursing (AINs) to deliver patient care Essential Criteria Authority to Work in Australi
Working with Children check (if relevant) Bachelor of Science (Nursing) or equivalent Current Registration (no restriction) with AHPRA Have completed a new graduate year Post Graduate Certificate in Cardiac or ICU (or working towards) Clinical experience in an ICU or cardiology environment Current Advanced life support (or willing to obtain) Compliance with ACQSHC National standards Clinical expertise and commitment to high quality patient care and continuous imp Self-motivated and proven ability to work as part of a high functioning team Highly developed interpersonal skills, proactive, motivated and customer focused Why Healthscope?
