Experiences Personal Care Worker

About the role

Blue Willows (New Domain Developments Pty Ltd) is seeking an experienced Personal Care Workers to join our dedicated team in Ringwood, VIC. In this role, you will provide compassionate and personalised support to our elderly and NDIS clients, helping them maintain their independence and quality of life.

What you'll be doing

1. Assisting clients with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming and meal preparation

2. Providing companionship and engaging clients to promote their wellbeing

3. Monitoring client's physical and emotional health, and reporting any changes to the appropriate personnel

4. Documenting client progress and maintaining detailed records

5. Adhering to all company policies, procedures and safety protocols

What we're looking for

1. A Certificate III in Individual Support or relevant qualification in aged care or disability support

2. Experience providing personal care and support services to elderly or disabled clients

3. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with clients

4. Patience, empathy and a genuine desire to make a positive difference in people's lives

5. A compassionate and adaptable approach to care

6. Current National Police Check (or willingness to obtain)

7. Current First Aid and CPR certification

8. Valid working rights in Australia are essential

9. NDIS Worker Screening Check (or willingness to obtain)
