In this role, you'll:

Work as part of a team delivering critical cyber security governance, operational resilience and risk assurance across Sydney Metro's operational technology environment.

This role will see you lead the 24/7 cyber security operations centre, drive vendor performance, strengthen cyber resilience capabilities, and ensure compliance with evolving regulatory and legislative requirements.

You will champion continuous improvement, build strategic partnerships and deliver enhanced cyber security outcomes in a complex, highly regulated and operationally critical environment.

About you

Your expertise in SIEM (Security Information and Event Management), log collection, real-time event analysis, and threat alerts to help security teams spot and stop cyber attacks in operational technology (OT) environments. , Contract management and service assurance, developed across critical infrastructure, utilities, transport, government or similarly complex industries, will see you excel in driving vendor accountability, managing cyber risk and delivering robust security outcomes.

You're recognised as a strategic and collaborative leader, skilled at navigating complex stakeholder relationships and translating technical cyber security requirements into practical business outcomes, with experience managing outsourced services, compliance obligations and continuous improvement initiatives.
