As a vital team member, you will provide high-quality nursing support and ensure all patients that present to the Urgent Care Service are given appropriate care in collaboration with the Registered Nurses (RN).    Why Join Us?  Top of Scope Practice: Enhance your skills with opportunities to perform wound care, plastering, assisting in procedures, and more.  Innovative Healthcare Model: Be part of an emerging and growing healthcare model, well-established in countries like New Zealand, the United Kingdom, with further investment recently announced by the Australian government.  Healthcare Leadership: Join the leading provider in this emerging part of primary healthcare.  ForHealth Group branded uniform provided.  Dental Discounts: Enjoy dental discounts for you and your family.  Join a high-performing collaborative team.    Your Responsibilities  Assist the RN in providing high-quality patient care for injuries or illnesses.  Perform care activities including administering vaccinations, wound care, plastering, and providing patient education.  Conduct diagnostic tests relevant to the patient's condition as directed by the RN.  Assist with work cover injury management and provide phlebotomy (if applicable).  Ensure patient care activities are within scope of practice and comply with ForHealth policies and procedures.  Support with patient services, greeting and assisting patients, monitoring appointment book, register and update registration details as required.  Provide guidance relating to inclusion and exclusion criteria over the phone as required.  Maintain a clean and well-stocked clinical area, completing administrative tasks such as Medicare billing, coding, and scanning documentation into patient files.  Provide high quality comprehensive documentation in all patient files.  Participate in workplace health and safety practices, ensuring all incidents and hazards are reported as per ForHealth policies.    About You  Current AHPRA registration as an Enrolled Nurse.  Must be available evenings and weekends.  Experience in a primary care setting, with a focus on chronic disease management, prevention, and health promotion is desirable.  3 years of direct clinical practice nursing care experience is desirable.  Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with excellent attention to detail.  Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, handle escalations, and collaborate with other healthcare professionals.  A passion for patient-centered care and a personable approach.    What we offer    20% off dental treatments for you and your family Fitness Passport – discounted gym benefits for you and your family 24/7 access to our Employee Assistance Program(EAP) Health insurance discounts   Provided Uniforms   Free onsite parking   Ongoing training, development and support   Better work-life  balance - No more night shifts!     Join us in creating a healthier Australia and be part of a company that values training, development, and internal promotion.
