Main Duties / Minimum Responsibilities

Project Financial Management

· Track actual costs against budgets and forecasts

· Prepare and process month-end journals and accruals

· Ensure accurate allocation of costs across all divisions and projects

· Perform expense analysis and assist in preparing monthly management reports

· Support the month-end close, including bank reconciliations and reporting

· Assist with budgeting and forecasting

· Conduct revenue reconciliations and financial analysis

Work in Progress (WIP) & Revenue Recognition

· Prepare and review monthly WIP calculations across all active projects

· Assess project stage of completion and revenue recognition in accordance with accounting standards

· Identify and analyze cost overruns, unbilled revenue, and potential losses

· Reconcile WIP balances with financial systems and project records

· Provide clear explanations of WIP movements to management

Project Reporting & Analysis

· Prepare monthly project financial reports across all divisions

· Deliver profitability analysis at the project and divisional levels

· Develop dashboards highlighting revenue, costs, margins, and risks

· Provide variance analysis (budget vs. actual vs. forecast)

· Support leadership with actionable insights and recommendations

Forecasting & Budgeting

· Review and prepare monthly reports on variances from the monthly forecast

· Assist with collating data for yearly work in hand for budgeting by department managers

Cost Control & Commercial Support

· Assist with contract reviews, variations, and claims from a financial perspective

· Ensure compliance with internal financial controls and approval processes
