Kingsville Early Learning is a family owned and operated community focused childcare and early education Centre. We are a standalone Centre. Our fundamental philosophy is that, “It takes a village to raise a child”. As educators we work alongside families. Our role is to provide additional strong, consistent, caring relationships to develop every child’s confidence. With a committed to a Child Safe environment, we provide a safe, secure and exciting environment to support children to thrive. We are active in the child’s process of learning and development.

The deliberate use of Music, Dance, Arts and Drama within learning experiences promotes neurological development, accesses both intrinsic and extrinsic motivators and fosters social connection. Our team members are respectful and clear communicators with each other and families from a basis of trust and acceptance of diversity. They have deep knowledge of child development and how children learn and use this to plan exciting child interest-led programs.

Key responsibilities
Plan and implement engaging, age-appropriate educational programs that align with the Early Years Learning Framework
Observe and document children's learning and development, providing individualised support as needed
Establish and maintain strong, positive relationships with children, families and the broader community
Ensure a safe, inclusive and stimulating learning environment that promotes the wellbeing of all children
Collaborate with the teaching team to continuously improve the quality of our early learning program
Adhere to all relevant policies, procedures and regulatory requirements
What we're looking for
A relevant tertiary qualification in Early Childhood Education
Demonstrated experience working as an Educator in an early learning setting
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with children, families and our team
A deep understanding of child development and a commitment to creating inclusive, play-based learning environments
Enthusiasm for continuous professional development and a collaborative approach to teamwork
A passion and/or experience in a form of art- Art, dance, drama, music
A current Working with Children Check and First Aid certificate
