The Opportunity
We’re looking for a Senior Data Engineer to join our Business Intelligence team and help build scalable, cloud-based data solutions.
You’ll work across a modern stack, delivering end-to-end data pipelines, models, and analytics capabilities, while uplifting data quality and driving automation across the business.
This is a hands-on, high-impact role ideal for someone passionate about modern data engineering, cloud platforms, and continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities
Design and build scalable data pipelines (ETL/ELT)
Develop and maintain data models for analytics and reporting
Ensure data quality, reliability and governance
Automate data workflows in a cloud-first environment
Troubleshoot and optimise data performance issues
Collaborate with BI, IT, and business stakeholders
Contribute to data platform architecture and best practices
Must-Have Skills & Experience
Strong hands-on experience with:
Snowflake
DBT
AWS Serverless Data Lake Framework
Advanced SQL and data modelling skills
Proven experience building end-to-end data pipelines
Experience working in cloud-based data environments
Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills
4+ years’ experience in Data Engineering / BI
Nice to Have
Power BI or Tableau experience
Exposure to CI/CD, DevOps or DataOps practices
Experience with GitLab or similar platforms
Domain experience in finance, retail, or supply chain
Relevant certifications (AWS, Snowflake)
